About

The Gawler and Districts Softball Association will be celebrating 40 years in 2022.

The Association was established in 1982, has five clubs and hosts two Senior Divisions, two junior divisions as well as a T-Ball Competition (Gawler T-Ball League).

Softball and T-Ball are played from October through to March at Karbeethan Reserve, Evanston Gardens.

Clubs are based in various regions such as Gawler, Barossa and Two Wells) players can play for any club regardless of where they live. Girls and boys can start playing softball from the age of 8. There is no maximum age for girls, in fact there are women well into their 60’s still playing. Softball is a great family sport with mothers and daughters playing together and sometimes in the same team. Boys can play up to the age of 14 in the junior competitions and may also be able to play in the senior competitions up till a certain age and then there are pathways to the men's competition.
